This is not just a job opportunity, this is an opportunity to transform lives!

Summary

The Director of USM Engagement will be responsible for exposing the US church (English speaking and multiethnic), donors and partners to the resources and the worldwide ministry of the Bible League. Their role is to work with English speaking church leaders of all kinds to make the Bible League a well known and understood resource for the growth and development of the church in the US as it is around the world. They will also work on developing new channels of growth, developing a strategy to reach different audiences with the message of Bible League in keeping with the times, using methods that are relevant to the current culture. This hopefully will generate and continuously regenerate a new group of dedicated supporters of the Bible League. This will be accomplished by:

  • Relationships that are established, cultivated and developed with denominational, church, thought and lay leaders. Our goal will be to expand the awareness of the Bible League and its ministry as well as seek to partner with these leaders in helping their churches/organizations grow both in mission and health and to seek and learn of methods that we can learn from as well.
  • Learning from our partners, existing churches, and key leaders where are culture is headed and how we as the Bible League can help navigate the future.
  • Using our existing and new program development to help meet the needs of the local church or help in the growth of their world missions’ program.
  • Discovering new key thought or influence leaders and working on introducing them to the Bible League to reach new audiences in new ways and to build the presence of the Bible League throughout the US.
  • Develop, and implement new strategies to reach Christian schools and colleges with the message of the Bible League, to engage them at early ages to support our ministry and cultivating them as they grow up into partners who will be fully engaged with us.
  • We also desire to develop a scalable master training program, find and develop volunteer trainers for each of our programs throughout the country. We also aim to seek and help find solutions to meet the needs of these churches so that they develop into healthy churches that will support the ministry of the Bible League worldwide. They will supervise all trainers who are assigned to the English-speaking churches that BLI partners with and/or supports.

This is to be done by working cross functionally with all different teams within the Bible League and with all segments of the advancement division. This will also entail the close working with the Ministry experience teams as well as the ministry support teams as well as the Spanish-speaking ministry to enhance everyone’s effectiveness and efficiency as a reflection of our desire to be good stewards of God’s resources.
